One of the things that made me successful in marketing was taking Daily Actions to build my business. Then, I wrote an article called “SDA – Success in your business with Specific Daily Actions” which folks loved! Here it is for you to read, take action on and see success in your business.
As mentioned in my 7 Points to Success in Business report which you likely already have, there are certain things you need to do that are outlined in there. In a nutshell, you need to get the foundation of your business, that is the tools, in place so you can start marketing to make sales or recruiting or whatever it is you want to do in your business. The SDA process is a followon to that which assumes you have your business foundation in place.
For all the tools you need, we recommend and use ourselves NPN to put up our blogs and to power our easy home based business because it let’s us do everything with grandmother-simple, point-and-click ease and gives us up front money for referring others to it via their referral bonus program. We recommend starting at the director level for maximum profits.
Now, once you have that done (takes a day or three at most) you want to start laying out your marketing actions to bring in more prospects. That is where SDA’s come in.
Specific Daily Actions or SDA‘s are actions you take daily to build your business. The reason I call them “Specific” is to distinguish these SDA’s from other activities which DON’T build your business. SDA’s should always be your top priority to get done no matter what because they are effective in making you money.
So, what are SDA’s that help in this regard.
- Placing more advertisements
- Testing your ads to find out which ones work best.
- Following up with prospects
- Writing new autoresponder letters to your team
- Putting in place a new marketing campaign to get more prospects (like Ezine Advertising, writing articles, posting on forums, etc.)
- Driving traffic to your lead capture sites
See how each of those help to build your business? The more of them you do, the faster your business grows.
What are things that DON’T help to grow your business

- Checking email
- Sending jokes or funny videos around on FB or email or anything else.
- Reading the next Guru product launch (if you are thinking of buying it.) (If you are reading it to learn how to do good ad copy, that is ok.)
- Chatting with friends
- Texting to friends
- Skyping with friends
- (yes, you can have friends but for heaven’s sake, don’t let them take up your business building time!)
See how those things (and things LIKE them) DON’T help to build your business?
So, again, once your business foundation (web site, blog, autoresponder, lead capture page(s)) are in place, then and only then, plan your marketing. Plan placing ads, developing marketing strategies, making sales, etc. so that you know exactly what to do on a daily basis to keep it going and/or expanding. And do only those things (SDA’s that is) until they are done 100% for the day.

Once you have your SDA’s in place, you will know exactly what to do and how much of it to do and when you are done with SDA’s. What a great feeling!
